April 30, 2021
Greetings Church Family!
The Pastoral Care Team would like to express our thanks for all of you within our Church community.
The Church Board would like to inform the congregation that the leadership retreat, that had been scheduled for Saturday, May 1, has been postponed. The retreat will be rescheduled for a later, and safer, time. Your flexibility is appreciated!
Skip sent out a letter to the congregation, on April 23, regarding the special meeting that is scheduled for Sunday, May 2, 2021. This meeting will take place following the morning worship service. Please plan to attend this meeting and participate in the discussion about our interim pastoral search and financial situation.
All Church Book Study:
We are so excited to remind people about the book study being hosted by Tiffany Wittrig and Sue Stutzman. The book study will not begin until Wednesday, May 12th and be online only until further notice. The book being discussed is R.T. Kendall’s book Total Forgiveness and the book and study guide are available for purchase through Amazon. If you have any questions, Sue and Tiffany would be happy to speak with you. We are excited that they are willing to bring this opportunity to the congregation! We hope you will join them!
In 1 Peter, Peter teaches us that God can use difficulties to strengthen Christians and their witness. When our lives are a testimony to Jesus Christ we exhibit His influence in our lives that should be evident to those around us.
“To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps” (1 Peter 2:21).
May you be encouraged to be a witness in your daily lives.
